DEEP Begins Fall Atlantic Salmon Stockings

Connecticut’s Department of Energy & Environmental Protection (DEEP) today announced that its 2016 autumn stockings of broodstock Atlantic salmon have begun. DEEP’s Inland Fisheries Division this week released 1,000 salmon into Crystal Lake (Ellington/Stafford – 500 fish) and Mount Tom Pond (Morris/Litchfield/Washington, 500 fish).
